Hand-crafted from Pueblo leather, sourced from the prestigious Italian tannery Badalassi Carlo. The "Eyam" begins with a unique, slightly coarse matte texture. With every use, the leather transforms, naturally polishing its fibres to develop a rich, smooth patina that darkens in tone and reflects your unique history.
The Eyam is designed to slip over 1–2 pages of your book. The top corner has been removed so your page slides in cleanly, without dog-earing.

How it's made
Each piece of leather is cut from the hide using a steel die to ensure clean, consistent edges. Each piece is burnished to clean up the edges. Burnishing also helps the bookmark slip over the pages of a book. Saddle stitching is what binds the front and back of the leather, with a complementary coloured thread.
