Refund policy
I create high-quality, handcrafted leather goods, many of which are custom-made to order. Due to the nature of my products, I have specific return guidelines outlined below.
Returns & Eligibility
I accept returns within 30 days of receiving your item, provided it meets the following conditions:
- The item is unused and in its original condition (unworn, unmarked, and undamaged).
- It is returned in its original packaging with any included accessories or documentation.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
Exceptions:
Due to the handmade and custom nature of many of my products, I do not accept returns on:
- Custom or personalised orders (including engraved, embossed, or name-stamped items).
- Made-to-order items unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Clearance items or gift cards.
To initiate a return, please email me at info@sigilandhide.co.uk. Returns sent without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, I will provide you with a return shipping address and instructions. Please note that return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility, except in cases of damage, defect, or incorrect item received.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact me immediately at info@sigilandhide.co.uk if:
- Your item arrives damaged.
- You receive the wrong product.
I will evaluate the issue and arrange for a replacement or refund where applicable.
Exchanges
I do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please place a new order after your return has been processed and refunded (if eligible).
International Orders & EU 3-Day Cooling-Off Period
For international customers, please be aware that return shipping may take longer and you are responsible for any return shipping fees.
For customers in the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and with original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Refunds
Once I receive and inspect your return, I will notify you of the refund status. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to process the refund.
