A handmade full-grain leather ritual tealight tray, designed to seat up to three tea-candles. The part that holds the candle can be removed to expose coloured pig-suede. The detached piece is reversible.
Disclaimer: It's important to note that direct heat, wax and leather do not go well together. However, I have two thoughts about this:
- Items are meant to be used. Things get tarnished, which adds character.
- If you want to keep it pristine, consider using led candles.
The product photos showcases Deep Lake, Mulberry and Wine and all use the Brown thread.
Inspiration
I was looking through various photos of altars online, and in almost all cases there were candles. It occurred to me that despite the limitations of leather, I could safely make a flat holder to house small candles. Once I'd conceived of the circle with the three slots, my ideas grew out from there. I actually love that despite selling this as a candle holder, your imagination could think of many other uses. What would you use yours for?

How it's made
Natural Leather Characteristics
Natural Leather Characteristics
- The colour of your leather piece may differ slightly from what you see on your screen.
- Due to the dyeing process, the colour may vary slightly depending on the area of the leather.
- As full-grain leather undergoes minimal processing, natural wrinkles may remain visible and their patterns can vary from piece to piece.
- With natural leather, some blemishes are to be expected, though I always do my best to keep these to a minimum.

So much attention to detail. Seeing the process photos he included with my order was awesome - knowing every piece of this was made by hand really adds to it for me. Having options on how to arrange it makes resetting my altar for each season that much easier! Beautiful, natural leather, exactly as ordered.
