the-vesper
The Vesper Wooden Altar

The Vesper is machined from a single piece of sapele (hardwood). I’ve cut a slot to hold a single card for your daily draw, or a photo of someone you want to keep close. The centre of the piece has a shallow cut-out to hold a piece of Italian leather. The front recess is deep, to hold the included glass tealight holder and beeswax tealights. This marks the first wooden piece I've crafted single-handed.

In the photos, I've used Prugna and Ortensia as the two leather colours.

Inspiration

I really enjoy making practical pieces out of natural materials. Looking back over my collection, I saw an opportunity to merge three in one (card holder, placement, and candle holder). I'm really proud of how the design came out.

Includes

Branded presentation box, to store and display your collection piece.

Sealed thank you note

Certificate of Authenticity

Glass Tealight Holder

Two beeswax tealights

Does not include other accessories as seen in the photos.

Care

There is approx. 11cm between the card and the naked flame.
